So my rant is over!

I have calmmed down a bit from yesterday. Thank goodness for my mom! And you know what, I am again reminded how I just need to vest my interest in lifetime friends. So in my search for lifetime friends their is an AM coffee session with a friend that I hope last a lifetime! (wink wink)

Anyway..so Misty was up late courtesy of Spencer and took a personality quiz. I SO am doing what I am suppose to be doing! Misty's is pretty on the nose for her too!

Your personality type:

Enthusiastic, idealistic and creative. Able to do almost anything that interests them. Great people skills. Need to live life in accordance with their inner values. Excited by new ideas, but bored with details. Open-minded and flexible, with a broad range of interests and abilities.

Careers that could fit you includes:

Actors, journalists, writers, musicians, painters, consultants, psychologists, psychiatrists, entrepreneurs, teachers, counselors, politicans, diplomats, television reporters, marketers, scientists, sales repr

But really...I get bored with the details. When ryan reads this he is going to fall off his chair laughing. I never care about the details. But a politician...ewww! That so means I would have to have the details! Anyway..bigger brighter days!

OH I am bubbling angry! This is a long one!

Now I think I am a jump through hoops sorta of friend! For my besties there is no stone unturned..you know! So today I get this fucked up..yes I did drop the "f" bomb...voicemail on how I don't really care about people and how this and that and I am just trying to put other people in the middle....okay..so the back story...

My friend had a Longaberger Show. Her friend, all of our girls went to the same school in the same class, purchased a beautiful picnic basket. Now we all understand that Longaberger isn't just something you decide you want to buy. It is far too expensive and all that other stuffs..but anyway..this is the beauty she purchased! Large Picnic Basket with Large Riser. Anyway..so fast forward a bit, she noticed it has some issue on the corner and wanted to return it. But in the mean time she had decided to open and shop and said that she knows she bought this basket but she can find ones that are better for half the price.

First and foremost..you aren't going to find anything as good as this..for half the price.

Secondly...this girl is not poor. Or even hurting for a dollar. You and I scrimp and save and try to live within a budget, but this girls has $20,000 sitting in her home's safe. It is not like she doesn't drop $200 on things here and there...totally not the point I know, but people get crazy when it comes to money. anyway....so I say..well if you don't want it..I will buy it.

On this night, she had taken us to dinner. Oh why did she have to take us to dinner. Well cause Marsha..Karrie and I had spent our time (2 weeks) painting her new boutique. Oh and let's just say that it was a fricken fabulous time painting her place. We saved her THOUSANDS of dollars by painting her thing. Also while one person was painting someone else had to watch Karrie's children so she could paint. Tada, me! Now I have no problem helping Karrie out. But it is not like all we did was paint

I also have watched said girl's oldest daughter while she was having her baby. I took her oldest the sunday before her scheduled induction Monday. I took her child for three days. OH and it is not like her child is a walk in the park. My children are in bed at 715pm and don't get a tv to fall asleep to. You eat everything in my house or you starve...she luckily doesn't have to! So it was tough three days for my girls and their not sleeping effected their personalities making it just all roses in the late afternoons. But said girls family sucks so someone needed to watch her. So, cause we are friends, I say sure I will do it. Little did I know the night that her second daughter is born, her husband finds the time to go play poker. I mean come and get your fricken kid! Not to mention I had to drive to downtown Charleston at three in the afternoon so her oldest daughter could see her new sister. It wasn't like her parents were coming to get her from my house.

Oh my goodness I am fuming! I hate to be someones reason! My problem is that I was her reason. I am always someones reason. I am seriously so angry all I can do is see red! Anyway...so she took us to dinner as "payment". I so wished we went some place fabulous OR I ordered something really worth it! Anyway that night i took said basket from her. To give to the consultant and have it returned because of the damage.

Finally the consultant got the return ticket TODAY! and is able to return it. And then I get this phone call today!

Not that I expect everyone to understand a military situation. Few people who don't live it everyday can't even start to understand.

Michelle, the consultants husband just returned from Iraq and they are currently living separate. She's in SC and he's in Newport, RI. She has two children one almost 16 going to be 26 year old. And a ten year old boy..who wants to be 16. Wishing her luck everyday!

Karrie's husband is also in some hostile undisclosed area...schedule to return sometime really soon. But he has been gone for oh about four months! Did I mention she has four kids. One 15, one 7, one 5, and one going to be two in November.

Ryan has been in CT since the end of July! I mean seriously..I would love to see her try and run her house with just one person. And of course I have three ever so pleasant daughters!

Said women has a cleaning lady/baby nanny and can come and go as she pleases. She has one five almost six year old and a six month old. They own their own business and she does all the book keeping and her husband basically sets his schedule. Meaning he takes their oldest to and from school. I am not saying she doesn't work hard...but seriously try to do it on a budget with three children playing three sport and your husband underway. Let's just see how much of a superstar you are. When you have to cut your own lawn and your house doesn't have an elevator. I am not saying I am a fricken superhero but not everyone can be a military spouse!

So against my better judgement I called her..in an attempt to talk about it. So I got her voicemail! OH did I just leave the most horrible message EVER for the last three or so minutes. But I feel better! Say what I said and that's it. Now I wash my hands of the entire situation.

And Karrie Clark if you, so help my goodness, pay her or be involved in anyway, I will be mad at you! There is no excuse for her behavior. I don't care if in her previous lifetimes she has been burned or slighted by others..I NEVER DID IT TO HER! SO don't dish your high school drama shit to me! I find it funny that people can't just be adults. I promise Karrie! Stop being the peace keeper. She has an issue..she needs to remove you from the middle and see me! Here I am. My cel phone number has been the same for the last ten years!

Sorry for my vent..but never try and call me out on something that you are SO in the wrong about. I will make sure to resolve the problem and point out in glowing lights why you are the dumb ass. In a matter of fact, nothing would make me feel happier right now!

Sorry guys i just had to vent!

Did I mention I am a winner?

While working at the Pink House and at CHA Summer I entered our store in a contest to win a visit with a papercrafting superstar and have her teach on World Card Making day...Well one year ago this past Saturday I met Megan!

She was a total blast and I love her to death. We took her downtown and toured Charleston, as much as we could at night. But we had a blast. She came in..and taught this class..gave out free stamps..EVERYTHING. It was pretty rockstar. Megan is not only a crafty superstar she is also a contributing editor..to at that time Papercraft Magazine. Yea..she totally mentioned one of my super star organizational solutions in her article. YES I AM FAMOUS! You want to know me!

So fast forward a year later and Megan is now a rockstar Sr. Editor for Simple Scrapbooks. Megan has always been awesome and totally deserved it. For all you SU stamp users.."Big Pieces" is her brain child.
Her and Shelli go back a bit..and in actuality she left SU to pursue other goals. Anyway..so I totally commented her..not really intending on entering her contest..but I won fabulous fun stuffs...Check it out here. You have to scroll down some!

Anyway..I love how the papercraft world is just this small...maybe one day I will be on Simple's staff...hmmmm!

Where does my day go?

So Misty's SIL blogged about her day! And as I was reading hers..then Misty's and then Vaiva's I was reminded just how awesome my life was with little children. I mean I love love love that I have freedom now..but I deep down inside miss the discipline that having three young girls required. .
Back in the day...when Tyra was eight...Traysea two..and Nanea 9 months old
My day use to be this...
wake up at 5:30 am shower....
6:00 am get dressed and brush my hair
6:15 wake up tyra. send her into the shower..Nanea starts jabbering...
6:30 prepare tyra's breakfast as she is getting dressed and making her bed
7am everyones up and at the table eating breakfast
7:15 tyra is upstairs getting dressed finishing her morning chores brushing her teeth and bringing me her brush and detangle spray..that child and her hair..
730 do tyra's hair...clear the table...dress the two piglets..take out dinner
and get everyone in the car
745 off to school
815 off to target..or walmart or doctors or whatever misc.
item or errand is required of me today. Or it is craft time if we are staying home.
11 am. return home. do breakfast dishes. lunchtime.
NLT 1130 everyone is cleaned up and down for a nap.
between 1145 and 2 p.m. is the normal mommy stuffs. cleaning, dishes, laundry, and checking my email. when the girls were this young we were living in Rhode Island in housing...all they had was dial up and it was upstairs in my room. I totally couldn't do it if I was the only one home.
2:05 waking the girls up and cleaning them up from nap time. Redo hair and put them in the car to pick up tyra from school
2:35 pick up Tyra from school
2:45 return home. All the girls get a snack
3 p.m. clear the table. The babies get a baby einstein video and the toy closet opens. Help Tyra with her homework. Start dinner and finish whatever chores didn't get completed.
5 pm Dinner time. Ryan normally has arrived by this time but it is a crazy circus.
Food is served...
6 p.m bathtime for everyone. Actually bath's for the two babies and tyra hits the shower. depending on who gets bath time, the other person is cleaning up the kitchen. Dining room table floor needs to be swept, dishes and food put away. If there is leftovers, packed for Ry's lunch tomorrow. The girls all brush their teeth in the shower or bath. Makes my life so much easier!
7 p.m. is braiding tyra's hair, selecting tomorrows outfit and storytime.
715 p.m. everyones in bed.
730 all girls are asleep!
7:45 I breath out for a minute!
8 pm. while watching tv I clean up downstairs. Sort the toy closet and return it to its normal state. Wash bottles and spray all the clothes for stains from the day. Iron the girls clothes for the next day and set it all out.
9 pm watch tv..normally fall asleep and have ry wake me around 11 to tell me it's time to go upstairs.

See I miss it..now days..I suck!

I get up at 530 still..hit the shower the same..get my clothes together..most days.
6:15 wake up the babies
6:30 brush teeth and get their clothes on.
7 am packing the lunches and doing the girls hair. wake up tyra
730 leave for school.
740 arrive school. walk girls in
8am return home. dishes and cleaning up.
9-1 do whatever I want to do. With no ryan home I barely have to think about dinner and what to do..someday i have a plan, most days I don't! I might do laundry and catch up on my tivo..other days I have fabulous lunches with great friends..or just spend my days shopping.
1:15 i leave to get the girls from school
Between 130 and 150 the girls get out of school. I have to wait for them in the pick up line. Ugh!
215 return home. Snacks. Homework.
245pm roll around on the floor with the girls. Play wii..play computer..blog..sleep..watch tv..whatever it is I want to do..I might do some laundry..
4 pm feed the girls. They are STARVING by this time!
If it is Tuesday or thursday we have soccer at 6. We leave the house around 515.
If it is monday or friday my girls are fed and four..and showered by five thirty. At six they get a snack and at seven they are in the bed.
Wednesday are days we spend wasting every minute...since we have nothing. Normally we have play dates or just spending our time outside being dorks.
6pm clean up. Normally my house is torn to shreds. The toy room looks like crap. So it take about 30 minutes to get back to semi normal
630...bathtime
7pm storytime
730 bedtime.
Then I spend my evening doing whatever I want to do..like right now I am blogging..myspacing..facebooking..or just surfing in general. I almost always have laundry to do now. I always have laundry to put away, OH I HATE THAT CHORE!, and my dishes almost always need to be either washed or put up! Where did my discipline go? My yard isn't done. My bathrooms need to be done..Help me..I need a baby to get me back on schedule! Maybe I can convince my husband that way...if we have a baby I can go back to being a good wife!!!

OH just an update..so it looks like my husband might actually be in our state come late late Friday. I know I found out today..so my girls are crossing their fingers. My girls are so excited! They really miss their dad. I am not sure what it is..it sorta makes me mad..but i get it..i guess!

sorry for the long blah blah blah post..but i miss the days of discipline!

Tagged by Vaiva

So Vaiva tagged me.

Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Mention the rules.
3. Tell six quirky yet boring, unspectacular details about yourself.
4. Tag six other bloggers by linking to them.
5. Go to each person's blog and leave them a comment so they know they've been tagged.

Now normally I don't live boring..but heh..here are six boring, quirky random details about me.

1. I have this thing for accessories. I love bags..watches..hairbows..socks..necklaces..bracelets. But I am not a huge one on shoes. Thank God I got three fun girls to play dress up with!

2. I rather wait and have what I want then have a replacement. Perfect example..we still have no couch! It cause I won't compromise!

3. I will sing out loud at the top of lungs anywhere. I love to make Tyra crazy. Funny enough I know all the words to far too many songs!

4. I am a bit over competitive! Trust me, you don't want to see it! If I am playing a sport or playing cards it doesn't matter. You should see me when my children are playing. OH and if I have a sucky game...I am SO pissed!

5. I can crack nearly every part of my body. My neck, my fingers, my toes, my back, my hips, my feet...trust me..every part of me! Ry hates it!

6. As random as I am, I enjoy a schedule. But I have horrible time management!

So I decided since Vaiva linked a small handful of who I would link..I had to get creative..
1. A simple life
2. My thinking Chair
3. Life in the Blonski Household
4. I don't know yet
5. Pink Lemonade
6. Savannah Scrapbooking

I hope they play..it will be fun to check it out!

THE NEXT SURVIVOR SERIES

My best friend sent me this! I thought it was hilarious!

Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and
3 kids each for six weeks.

Each kid will play
two sports
and either take music
or dance classes.

There is no fast food.

Each man must
take care of his 3 kids;
keep his assigned house clean ,
correct all homework,
and complete science projects ,
cook, do laundry,
and pay a list of 'pretend' bills
with not enough money.

In addition, each man
will have to budget in money
for groceries each week.

Each man
must remember the birthdays
of all their friends and relatives ,
and send cards out
on time--no emailing.

Each man must also
take each child to a doctor's appointment ,
a dentist appointment
and a haircut appointment ..

He must make
one unscheduled and inconvenient
visit per child
to the Urgent Care.

He must also
make cookies or cupcakes
for a social function.

Each man will be responsible for
decorating his own assigned house,
planting flowers outside
and keeping it presentable
at all times.

The men will only
have access to television
when the kids are asleep
and all chores are done.

The men must
shave their legs ,
wear makeup daily,
adorn himself with jewelry,
wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes ,
keep fingernails polished
and eyebrows groomed .

During one of the six weeks,
the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, back aches,
and have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or
slow down from other duties.

They must attend
weekly school meetings,
church, and find time
at least once to spend the afternoon
at the park or a similar setting.

They will need to
read a book to the kids
each night and in the morning,
feed them, dress them,
brush their teeth and
comb their hair by 7:00 am.

A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be
required to know all of the following information:
each child's birthday,
height, weight,
shoe size, clothes size
and doctor's name.
Also the child's weight at birth,
length, time of birth,
and length of labor,
each child's favorite color,
middle name,
favorite snack,
favorite song,
favorite drink,
favorite toy,
biggest fear and
what they want to be when they grow up.

The kids vote them off the island
based on performance.
The last man wins only if...
he still has enough energy
to be intimate with his spouse
at a moment's notice.

If the last man does win,
he can play the game over and over
and over again for the next 18-25 years
eventually earning the right
To be called Mother!
