Lamers, but boy we have answered prayers

That's how exciting we are. I really don't have anything to blog about..except Nanea is doing fine. It is hard to imagine that on Tuesday, my child has surgery. But she amazes me. And the Holy Spirit has totally comforted her and eased her pain. But I still don' want to take her out. I just want to make sure that she stays illness free. She says it still hurts when she coughs, but the rest is all good. She is eating normally. For the most part. But her food of choice is still mac and cheese.

So this weekend Tyra is going on a trip to Orlando to the Temple. I am SO excited for her! But nervous, since I am not going. I did have someone from church offer to keep #2 and 3..but with #3 just coming off surgery and not suppose to be out of the bed, I think that a trip for me will have to wait. I hope that she has a great time though. Plus the person driving her, I absolutely trust!

All I know is that a lot of prayers have been answered this week. And the rewards have been amazing! My children have even noticed!

Okay enough blah blah blah..I gotta take #2 to school!

No, really, she had surgery. Heavenly Father is awesome

Nanea has been on the move. I mean if you have even met sister for a second you would that she is a ball full of energy. So today, I had to make her stay in bed all day. Then beg her to come in the house instead of play in the backyard. Then when I took her with to soccer practice, I had to beg her to sit down. Then when I went to get Tyra and she was next to a playground, I finally just said, no running.

The Holy Spirit has kept her in comfort and is SO amazing. She sleeps well. Eating. A little fever, but nothing crazy. Reminds me, she needs some medicine.

Nanea's "procedure"

Nanea doesn't like the word surgery. So we are going with procedure. I guess I should back up some. Since Nanea was little, she has had reflux. At least, that is what the doctor said. She was the spit up queen! She also snored. If you have never seen a two day old snore, it's pretty hilarious. Now Ry..huge snorer. If that is even a word. And I snore, when my nose is stuffy or I am in extreme exhaustion. Also forever she has had the HUGEST tonsils.

On the grading scale of 1-4, Nanea has a 3. BUT we have been so blessed to not have chronic ear infections or strep. Her doctor finds that pretty amazing. Now Ry, he always gets the crazy strep throat. I am sure he needed to have his removed YEARS ago..but just never did.

Anyway..fast forward to age 5 and a person on her soccer team was having his out. She was describing some of his symptoms, and I kept thinking to myself, that is totally Nanea. So I started asking her some questions. She happened to be a nurse, and she was sure Nanea needed to examined. So I called the doctor the next day. With Tricare it takes forever..so it was PCM. To Specialist. To Sleep Study. To follow up. To here. Surgery..i ment procedure tomorrow. So her "last" meal request
Today some of the Priesthood is coming over to give Nanea a blessing. Then no eating after midnight. And no drinking water, apple juice or gatorade after 6 am. We have to be there at eight, and she doesn't have her procedure until 10. I mean seriously. Have you met Nanea? She will be the worst by then. I am going to keep her up and try and feed her right around nine or nine thirty, just so she can make it without falling out!

Easter P.S.

Easter was spent with the greatest Church family EVER.
We roasted Starburst. Yes, you read that correctly. Starburst. Ever had them. Now for me, I have to say..not a fan..but these boys were!
This is Bowen's favorite candy.
Then of course there was the Easter Egg Hunt
then the kids hid eggs and let the adults play. well not all of us are really adults..but if you over 7, it was your turn!
Then we watched a great movie about Joseph Smith's life and finished out night off with these treasures! Thanks Aunty Elise and Uncle CP!
I hope your Easter was a blessed one!

Rejoice he has risen!

Happy Easter Blog Fans!
I know most of you aren't really fans. You are either my family or some friends out there..but either way..Happy Easter. It is WOW to think about just where we were last year at this time. We are living in a new place..same type of weather..and have found our spiritual home.
WOW..is all I can say! This is my girls last year!
Then them this year!

The difference a year makes. But I wanted to take a second to thank Heavenly Father for sending his only Begotten son to die for our sins. Our lives are so full because of it.
Gotta get the eggs ready for egg hunt!

More Easter going ons

So I was in picture mode. Sorry if it is visual overload...but I am picture happy since I put down the point and shoot camera. My #1 will let me click pictures of her with minimal complaint. I always feel like the other two gets all the click click time! But todau was such an awesome day. I really wish we had some crazy thing planned, but no. Just Egg Dying.
#1 always makes the all blue egg!
The two piglets asked to dye eggs ALL DAY! I keep telling them to just wait till four o'clock!
She wrote her name so we would remember which egg was hers.
Taking a second to smile
Maggie Moo is always so shy for picture time. This morning we almost went crazy trying to get her to take an Easter picture. She better adjust in this house. Everyone gets their picture taken. But tonight I was able to steal one. When she decided she was going to jump up and cuddle with #1 on the chair.
Happy Easter!
