That is what I need right now. Not that I am going to go into any type of detail on my blog, but I was bad, and I need to be fixed. It's amazing though just how horrible I feel. And how almost every second my heart is convicted. I hate it, but I love it. It sorta makes me cry that Heavenly Father loves me enough to still weigh heavy on my heart.
So Wikipedia describes repentance as a change of thought and action to correct a wrong and gain forgiveness from a person who is wronged. In religious contexts it usually refers to confession to God, ceasing sin against God, and resolving to live according to religious law. It typically includes an admission of guilt, a promise or resolve not to repeat the offense; an attempt to make restitution for the wrong, or in some way to reverse the harmful effects of the wrong where possible.
I know it is past Easter, but I love that I am a child of God and that I have the agency to choose to follow him. I know this may be far too much Jesus talk for some. But it is where my head is right now, and you can click off my blog at anytime.
But I think it is a great lesson for me, and a great lesson for my children. I have admitted, to them, my error, and now have decided to wash my heart clean. Hopefully my children learn that even though something happens, God will never forsake you!

My heart goes out to you Ronee. I am around if you need to talk.
This is a beautiful post! Thank you for putting it here for us to see. I find myself repenting on a regular basis....yet so grateful that God forgives.
