We are a praying family. It's what we do. We pray for everything....
So of course, pre game, my children and I gather..and I start...
Dear kind gracious Heavenly Father, we are thankful for this blessed day and the time that we can spend together as a family. We are grateful for all the blessings you have put in our lives and we ask that you continue to protect us and keep us safe. We are thankful for the gospel that is alive in our lives and that we pray that daddy learns the truth about your Heavenly Father. We pray that Traysea and Nanea have a great game today and that everyone out here stays safe. We pray that everyone is safe when they return home..
Traysea: Mom I have something I would like to add.
Okay Tray, go ahead...and then end our prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, please have the Holy Spirit be with us so we can DOMINATE the other team! We say these things in the name of your son Jesus Christ AMEN
SO maybe I am pushing my kids a little to hard in sports! OH well..SHE dominated! And then she thanked the Holy Spirit!

Too cute! I just told my Mom a few weeks ago that I hoped our cars wouldn't need work for inspections here. She said, "Why don't we say a prayer before we go get them checked" (We pray together even on the phone for things that really matter)... I said "Mom you cannot pray for something so miniscule in your life, does it really matter?" She said "Of course it does, if it matters to you, it matters to God." So we did, we prayed about it and not only did it not cost much of anything, the guy threw in free wiper blades....too funny. He totally wanted Traysea to dominate!
