#1 gets a hold of the camera

Kalei has always loved taking pictures.  She got her own camera about three or four years ago for her birthday.  Now that camera isn't good enough and she want to play with the Rebel.
SO our first stop, soccer practice
Not bad shots.  It didn't help that we didn't have a zoom lens.  But she did alright.  Then we had Mutual.  So Tyra has some fun there

Now all I will hear for a few weeks is.  Can we get a zoom lens?  Or can I please use your camera!

Missing my favorite missionaries already

In every Ward or Branch Missionaries have to rotate. It is what it is...and most times it isn't an issue..but these were my favorite. (Sean you are still my favorite RETURN missionary) Christopher baptized Tyra and I...and Robert..is just Robert. But I know they both will be back to visit. My children totally love them! They totally turned into part of our family! For our goodbye day..we went to dairy queen and had a picture session at the beach
Days with them were always like the above. Fun crazy...and filled with them making trouble to Tyra. It's what big brothers are suppose to do to little sisters! #2 is missing because she just didn't want to take anymore pictures!

I have about fifty of these..so I didn't want to bore you to death. But as long as they know I will forever love them! And they only strengthen my testimony! Yes you do too Sean!
miss you guys

#2: "My testimony of Jesus Chris helps me make the right choices."
#3 nod in agreement!
Me:  What about you 1?
#1:  "That if I live modestly I can score me a smokin hott mormon guy!"

I am so glad!

I promised you pictures.....

Sunshine makes for great afternoons of just doing crazy things.
Jump roping
scooter riding and dog walking
it even brings out the ones that want to stay in the house

Even when my kids don't have soccer practice, they want to drag out the ladder. I can't wait for them to be 14,and make that horrible sigh when they see these at their practices

but then we go on bug exploration

and go home. happy girls!

When your days start out slow

don't ever think that is how it is going to stay.

Today I am offically...pooped.  Not that I haven't had other days like this.  But today, my neck and arms are aching.  And my wonderful pillow and blanket are calling my name.

Today was totally a run around type of day.  It is so funny how the rush in the car to here and there, really makes you SO tired.  But everyday I would take this type of tired.  It is the price of being the mom I want to be.  OH and the sister that my brother needed.  So I am not complaining.  I love being the mom that brings lunch to her just returning to school #3.  Or being the sister that her brother calls for her car.  And the mom that has to rush out to soccer practice.  I will take it all.  but boy, can I not wait for the day that #1 can drive.  Of course everyone says I say that, but I don't mean it.  OMW do I mean it.

My house is a DIASTER!  Did I mention?  Dishes to be done.  Food still out to be put away.  I need a big kick in the ASK to make sure I can clean my hosue life a fool tomorrow.  OH WAIT..didn't I just do that on Saturday.  OMW!  Did I tell you my vaccum died.  And it is a great one, but now I need to take it to Sears to have it repaired.  Why can't I just go and buy the Dyson.  OH it is $500.

alright enough crying.

Repentance

That is what I need right now. Not that I am going to go into any type of detail on my blog, but I was bad, and I need to be fixed. It's amazing though just how horrible I feel. And how almost every second my heart is convicted. I hate it, but I love it. It sorta makes me cry that Heavenly Father loves me enough to still weigh heavy on my heart.

So Wikipedia describes repentance as a change of thought and action to correct a wrong and gain forgiveness from a person who is wronged. In religious contexts it usually refers to confession to God, ceasing sin against God, and resolving to live according to religious law. It typically includes an admission of guilt, a promise or resolve not to repeat the offense; an attempt to make restitution for the wrong, or in some way to reverse the harmful effects of the wrong where possible.

I know it is past Easter, but I love that I am a child of God and that I have the agency to choose to follow him. I know this may be far too much Jesus talk for some. But it is where my head is right now, and you can click off my blog at anytime.

But I think it is a great lesson for me, and a great lesson for my children. I have admitted, to them, my error, and now have decided to wash my heart clean. Hopefully my children learn that even though something happens, God will never forsake you!

Elder Holland concluded saying, "I testify that bad days come to an end, that faith always triumphs and that heavenly promises are always kept."

It has been an amazing week. Faith is crazy! I mean seriously. You pray. You wait. You pray. You wait. Then all at once, things are delivered. I didn't really realize just how stressed out I was. Well that's not true. I put my faith in God, and continued to pray. Sometimes in a dark quiet corner begging. Trying to pray with my whole heart trusting in God's great plan for my family. And then without me even really really realizing it, all things are delivered!

First and most important Nanea has been healed. I mean it has been crazy how well she is doing. Right now as I am typing this, she is eating Cocoa Krispes. Yes I know she isn't suppose to eat any type of food like that. This is her second bowl.

Secondly, Tyra went to the temple. She had a great time! I wish I could have went with her, but my prayers were answered that she went with someone I totally trust. She went without incident and got her a cool new ring!

I am not going to go on and itemize my blessings, but you get the idea. Well, it's Sunday and we are running behind. I promise to post pictures later today!
Have a great Sabbath!

Lamers, but boy we have answered prayers

That's how exciting we are. I really don't have anything to blog about..except Nanea is doing fine. It is hard to imagine that on Tuesday, my child has surgery. But she amazes me. And the Holy Spirit has totally comforted her and eased her pain. But I still don' want to take her out. I just want to make sure that she stays illness free. She says it still hurts when she coughs, but the rest is all good. She is eating normally. For the most part. But her food of choice is still mac and cheese.

So this weekend Tyra is going on a trip to Orlando to the Temple. I am SO excited for her! But nervous, since I am not going. I did have someone from church offer to keep #2 and 3..but with #3 just coming off surgery and not suppose to be out of the bed, I think that a trip for me will have to wait. I hope that she has a great time though. Plus the person driving her, I absolutely trust!

All I know is that a lot of prayers have been answered this week. And the rewards have been amazing! My children have even noticed!

Okay enough blah blah blah..I gotta take #2 to school!

No, really, she had surgery. Heavenly Father is awesome

Nanea has been on the move. I mean if you have even met sister for a second you would that she is a ball full of energy. So today, I had to make her stay in bed all day. Then beg her to come in the house instead of play in the backyard. Then when I took her with to soccer practice, I had to beg her to sit down. Then when I went to get Tyra and she was next to a playground, I finally just said, no running.

The Holy Spirit has kept her in comfort and is SO amazing. She sleeps well. Eating. A little fever, but nothing crazy. Reminds me, she needs some medicine.

Nanea's "procedure"

Nanea doesn't like the word surgery. So we are going with procedure. I guess I should back up some. Since Nanea was little, she has had reflux. At least, that is what the doctor said. She was the spit up queen! She also snored. If you have never seen a two day old snore, it's pretty hilarious. Now Ry..huge snorer. If that is even a word. And I snore, when my nose is stuffy or I am in extreme exhaustion. Also forever she has had the HUGEST tonsils.

On the grading scale of 1-4, Nanea has a 3. BUT we have been so blessed to not have chronic ear infections or strep. Her doctor finds that pretty amazing. Now Ry, he always gets the crazy strep throat. I am sure he needed to have his removed YEARS ago..but just never did.

Anyway..fast forward to age 5 and a person on her soccer team was having his out. She was describing some of his symptoms, and I kept thinking to myself, that is totally Nanea. So I started asking her some questions. She happened to be a nurse, and she was sure Nanea needed to examined. So I called the doctor the next day. With Tricare it takes forever..so it was PCM. To Specialist. To Sleep Study. To follow up. To here. Surgery..i ment procedure tomorrow. So her "last" meal request
Today some of the Priesthood is coming over to give Nanea a blessing. Then no eating after midnight. And no drinking water, apple juice or gatorade after 6 am. We have to be there at eight, and she doesn't have her procedure until 10. I mean seriously. Have you met Nanea? She will be the worst by then. I am going to keep her up and try and feed her right around nine or nine thirty, just so she can make it without falling out!

Easter P.S.

Easter was spent with the greatest Church family EVER.
We roasted Starburst. Yes, you read that correctly. Starburst. Ever had them. Now for me, I have to say..not a fan..but these boys were!
This is Bowen's favorite candy.
Then of course there was the Easter Egg Hunt
then the kids hid eggs and let the adults play. well not all of us are really adults..but if you over 7, it was your turn!
Then we watched a great movie about Joseph Smith's life and finished out night off with these treasures! Thanks Aunty Elise and Uncle CP!
I hope your Easter was a blessed one!

Rejoice he has risen!

Happy Easter Blog Fans!
I know most of you aren't really fans. You are either my family or some friends out there..but either way..Happy Easter. It is WOW to think about just where we were last year at this time. We are living in a new place..same type of weather..and have found our spiritual home.
WOW..is all I can say! This is my girls last year!
Then them this year!

The difference a year makes. But I wanted to take a second to thank Heavenly Father for sending his only Begotten son to die for our sins. Our lives are so full because of it.
Gotta get the eggs ready for egg hunt!

More Easter going ons

So I was in picture mode. Sorry if it is visual overload...but I am picture happy since I put down the point and shoot camera. My #1 will let me click pictures of her with minimal complaint. I always feel like the other two gets all the click click time! But todau was such an awesome day. I really wish we had some crazy thing planned, but no. Just Egg Dying.
#1 always makes the all blue egg!
The two piglets asked to dye eggs ALL DAY! I keep telling them to just wait till four o'clock!
She wrote her name so we would remember which egg was hers.
Taking a second to smile
Maggie Moo is always so shy for picture time. This morning we almost went crazy trying to get her to take an Easter picture. She better adjust in this house. Everyone gets their picture taken. But tonight I was able to steal one. When she decided she was going to jump up and cuddle with #1 on the chair.
Happy Easter!
